adventure under the big sky

Tuesday Astrid and Skag and I went backpacking (ahem, stroller camping) in Missoula's "big backyard" - The Rattlesnake Wilderness.  We were joined by some friends...  In total there were 11 girls.  4 girls, 4 little girls, and 3 four legged girls.


The plan was to hike in just past the three mile mark (where camping is allowed) and set up camp for the night for a first non-car camping trip (for three of the four little girls on the trip).  I didn't take a ton of unposed photos on this trip since I was too busy filming (more on why in coming months) our experience with my DSLR.

I have much more to tell you about - but I wanted to post these pics for now.  Off to another kind of adventure, this morning!
