I have been married to Jeff Moore for 7 years, today. It amazes me how quickly time passes....and also that it can feel like yesterday all in the same breath.
I've known Jeff for nearly 11 years. I met him at a motorcycle safety course in July 1999. I walked in 5 minutes late and had a choice to sit next to this slobby guy playing with his lip ring, or Mr. Handsome. I chose Mr. Handsome, who happened to also be the sweetest guy in the world.
The course was two days long and in that time we laughed so hard at times at the riding portion of the class in the parking lot. By the end of that second day Jeff scrambled to get phone numbers from all the people in the class - saying that we should have a reunion ride once we all get our motorcycle endorsment. Later, naive me finds out that the only number he really wanted to collect was mine.
The rest is history....and as I was looking through some photos that are on my computer today to find one appropriate for this blog entry... I found that my favorite photos are the ones of us outdoors doing something fun.
Not the greatest quality images to follow:
Riding from Butte to Missoula one weekend in 2000.

Cooling off in Rock Creek along the way.

A couple photos from out trip to Alaska in 2001. He was our support and gear wagon for the 1200 mile ride. The drive to Alaska and back with Jeff was one of the most fun times I've had.

This was deemed our "dreamsite" (campsite, that is). Most of the other camp sites we had were inundated with mosquitos.

This was one of those mosquito ridden campsites.

This was what we did sometimes if we didn't want to get eaten by mosquitos....we'd hang out in the truck until we got tired enough to crawl into the tent. If you weren't riding it was hard to stand still in Alaska or you'd get eaten alive. (I apparently thought it would be funny to pretend we were sleeping sitting in the front seat.)

Wedding Day:
Here are some photos from our wedding day at Snowbowl on an amazing June 28th day, 2003. The very Saturday before it snowed up at Snowbowl. We were supposed to get married on June 21st, but we changed our wedding date to accomodate my sister (maid of honor) Genevieve who had just given birth to Samuel on June 4th!

The rest of these are credited to Chad Harder Photography.

Walking down the aisle hand in hand with my Dad.

My brother David got ordained and married us under a big blue sky.

Our wedding party was made up of all our siblings. Frank, Genevieve, David, Rick and Brian.

Lee and Diane looking fabulous.

Happy Anniversary, Love.
