I have been back in Montana less than a week and I'm still sifting through the zillions of photographs I took during my visit.
While home we were able to see my immediate family (of course), nieces, nephews, all my aunts and uncles, and most of my 1st cousins on both sides! It was a lucky trip!
My trusty assistant (Astrid) and I took some pictures of some very special women in my life while in Houlton. This all started off with an idea Mom had to take some photographs of Auntie Kathy with her horses out at her farm. I thought it might be fun to do a photo shoot with Mom and all her sisters individually while we were up in Northern Maine.

My friend Keri put it well when I was telling her the day after I got back how much I missed my family in Maine...I explained it was great to be back in Montana, wonderful to see my husband again, but something was missing. She said when you come back from a trip home it takes a while for the heart to follow...I have to agree.
Here are more than just a few fun moments we had while in Maine. Click on the slideshow to make it larger:

Thanks Angel! I can't tell you how much fun it was to photograph them - makes me all teary and goosebumpy when I think of how much Gram will appreciate seeing these collages when I send them to her soon. My cousin Eleanore (one of Auntie Kathy's daughters) and I were emailing the other day....we are hoping we will look as good as they do (20-30 years from now)! They are amazing women for sure!
Heart lag. I love it. It's perfect.
I loved looking at these pictures and your collages. I feel like I know them just by looking at the amazing job you did capturing the moments. You are awesome!
