I was a lucky girl this weekend! Totally spoiled - to be able to get on my mountain bike both days this weekend (Thanks Jeff, you're the best). Saturday morning Skag and I went out on a short ride. I wasn't sure if she would be able to stay out of the path of my wheels on the decent... and I had worried for nothing since I am convinced she is the world's greatest mountain biking dog! She SOOOOO enjoyed herself. We came upon a huge group of riders on the climb and she stayed clear of them, as well. They all complimented her...she was so full of herself by the end of the ride!
Jen and Monica met me at the trailhead this afternoon and we went up a trail I hadn't been on in a while. Looks like we were the first to hit it, too. There was some bear scat and still lots of snow at the highest point of our ride.
