nature check- we're moving in the direction of SPRING!

The girls and I made yet another pilgrimage up Blue Mountain yesterday morning.... I am heartened by the sounds of SOOOOOO many types of birds. I even heard the Allagash birds. They were enjoying a beautiful morning in the trees.
(Little Astrid - any given day - any given trailhead - she's ready to go!)
(most likely watching Skagit on the trail going back and forth, and back and forth)
Tomorrow is the Spring Equinox and I'm hoping this means the end of this wintery weather. I'm finally bustin' out my road bike for a ride on my favorite quick 20-mile loop. Maybe later tonight, but most likely, this weekend so not to be gone during you-know-who's bedtime.
