A wonderful Thanksgiving

Jeff, Astrid and I went to Maine for Thanksgiving and had lots of fun! We were able to spend time with all the immediate family and some of the extended family on my Mom's side. I was only wishing that we had been able to see Auntie Linda (Dad's sister), Uncle Dave and family...they got sick over the holidays.

There were 37 of us at our Thanksgiving dinner....all family. It was impossible to wipe the smile off my face...I feel so so blessed to have such a close knit family.

We had some special time with Grammy Folsom and Gram Astrid by spending an extra day in the county. Jeff and I made them a meal over at Grammy's while we were in Houlton for our last night before heading south.

I have been sort of slack with the blogs lately - I have LOTS of Christmas gifts to make, and I'm running out of time! EEEEk!

Skagit and I have had a couple nice runs this weekend, through! It was nice to get out and get the stink blown off us(as my mother used to say!) while Jeff and Astrid hung out at home.

More to come later... If you would like to view the pictures larger, click the slideshow and once you get to the Picasa site hit the "slideshow" button...and it will go full screen.

There are soooo many favorite pics from the trip - - but these ones are treasures:

Looks like you had a great time! I am sad I have yet to visit you in person, but I do feel a bit more caught up now! = )

Oh Elizabeth, I am so happy you were surrounded by so many family members for Thanksgiving! It was so fun to see all the babies and kids your family has grown to include! The photo of your Mom with Astrid in those legwarmers-2 Astrids, priceless! I did receive something from you in the mail-and my apologies for not having officially thanked you yet! I keep meaning to write you a note and then my Christmas gift making consumes me...Thank you-officially! I loved seeing your images of the west and I am so excited that you have calendars of your photos printed!
