Yesterday was our 5th Wedding Anniversary.
It is so difficult to believe that 5 years has already passed... It makes me sad that it flew by, but we have lived a lot in 5 years of marriage, and have been through a lot. Dad's death, and the deaths of some other very important people in our lives (Grandma Betty, Dean, Alan Davis to name a few)...fun times with family (Like Lee and Diane's 50th wedding anniversary Moore Reunion out at our lake place, and also in Maine with the Smith Side at Nicataus), Times at Big Sky Lake, and now, the birth of our daughter Astrid 14 days ago!
We celebrated last night by going out to dinner in Seeley Lake. There are not very many choices - so we picked this place called "Sauce's Place". The food was just so-so...actually it was pretty horrible. Jeff had a chicken-vegetable stir fry with soy sauce, and I had salmon with fries. The fries hit the spot, I have to say! I haven't had french fries in so long!
The company was great though...Jeff and Astrid, and I. It was Astrid's first time out to a restaurant, too. She was a perfect angel.
Here is a photo that Mom snapped on our honeymoon in Glacier National Park after our wedding, and it's one of my favorites:

Congratulations on the 5 year mark! I can't believe it has been 5 years either...how the time flies!! Love you girlie!
That's a nice picture of you dancing with your dad. I know, should I ever get married, that's going to be one of those days that I miss him the most.
I hope you're well and adjusting to mommyhood!
