"It's a great day to be alive!"

I know that everyday is a great day to be alive! - But there are some days you open your eyes and wake up and it is so difficult to explain what you are experiencing...

You know what I'm talking about!!!!!Pure elation! It is excitement about everything and nothing. And the enjoyment of the most mundane things....for me, this morning, it was taking the time to feel my growing belly while laying in bed for a few extra lingery minutes while Jeff took a shower, an early morning run up/hike down Blue Mountain with two of my favorite four-legged friends (Skagit and Sonny-boy), walking with a light snow falling ~ in a new layer of fresh snow with no other footprints to follow, that sweet sweet smell of the woods and the howling of coyotes not too far away, and a hint of a sunrise across the valley through the clouds over Mount Sentinel...

...oh, you think this is it? It gets better! My clothes look great on today, my hair cooperates, I feel so alive I'm bursting at the seams and I want to infect everyone with this feeling I have! I had breakfast with my oldest friend (Holli) who was in for a visit this weekend, and I have this feeling of sheer inspiration that I haven't felt in a while, during this gray time of winter in Missoula.

I'm wishing you a day like this soon, especially if you haven't had one in a while!!! They're the best!
