Half way there - 20 Weeks

We are half way through my pregnancy and even after the "Big" ultrasound today we can't believe it!

We saw the heart, listened to the baby's heartbeat, and checked out all the pieces and parts (well, almost all the parts!) We are going to be surprised at the birth to see whether we are having a girl or a boy!

But we did happen to notice that the baby has four fingers (and a thumb) on his/her right hand - as depicted in the picture.

The face shot didn't turn out as well since baby had his/her arm up next to his/her head!....and was moving a little too much...so that is why the picture looks so bubbly and distorted.

The doctor assured us that we have a healthy baby growing in there!

Who will our baby look like?
What will s/he be interested in?
Will s/he be musical (I hope so!)...
Will s/he have a love of the outdoors like both Jeff and I?...
Will s/he be close with our families in Maine and Washington?
Oh, there are so many wonders!

As I cleaned up the office this weekend, to make way for a crib, I thought a lot about this new little being that will soon be turning the world as we know it upside down! I sang a lot and had fun going through old things, and looked forward to the new life that will be in this room in a few months!

Tomorrow I will be posting my pregnancy pics, so far...6 weeks, 16 weeks, and now 20 weeks.
