Since we got Skagit a few months ago I haven't taken her running, and actually I wasn't planning to take her until next fall, but since I ran uphill and she had tons of energy, I just made sure that I never ran too fast for her to keep up with me. She ran circles around me and I can already sense that "Skagit, Goddess of the Mountains" will be the best running dog in the whole world!

I went on an great run with Skagit and Sonny yesterday morning first thing - and we took some time to take a closer look at a tree and a rock on the way down...on a trail we hadn't ever been on before. The sky was so beautiful and mysterious to the west behind the mtn...
