This morning he went through the hall closet in search of a hat and some gloves to wear, and the last batch of cookies just came out of the oven that I made to send along with him. It is one of my traditions I like to do when he goes fishing or hunting with his friends...my only wish is that he comes back with none...so that I won't eat them! I have already eaten two!
Skag and I are heading west to Portland, OR. Since Jeff will be hunting this week we decided this would be the best time to head over for a short visit. I'm excited to see where Holli and Emily live now, and how they are doing. I went over for a visit in early 2005 with Keri and Angel, and thought it was time to get back over there, since so much has changed...
I also convinced Holli to join me for a night in a Forest Service Cabin called the Clear Lake Cabin Lookout about an hour outside Portland. Here are some other awesome pics of the place. I think I may have to carry Skag up into the tower!
