Upon further inspection on my computer...I realized that the last trail ride I was on was exactly 2 months ago in northern, Iceland (Akereyri).
It was purely coincidence that I get back from the lake with an email message from my new friend Anne Marie in my inbox. She sent me a couple pictures of Reykjavik (taken this evening in Reykjavik). And it was perfect timing since I have been homesick for Iceland lately...

Anne Marie also mentioned that she is listening to the Wailin' Jennys CD we sent her.
For those of you who have never heard them. Play this (this is the only one that I could find online. It happens to be my favorite one.):
Or Click for another acapella tune called "Bright Morning Stars"
Speaking of the Wailin' Jennys - Genevieve went to the Rockland concert by herself this past Saturday night since mom couldn't go afterall (since she had to work). I wish that somehow have flown into Bangor and surprised her. Anyway, coulda shoulda woulda - but Genevieve had a great time at the concert, and she loved everything they sang! I'm so glad she got the experience. It was her birthday gift from Mom.
Here are some other shots from the weekend! I hope you had a great weekend, too.
