Wilson! ~ A young life we are watching...

I want to start this entry by acknowledging and having a moment of silence to remember this special day - September 18th, 2007. Today, would be Mom and Dad's 36th wedding anniversary...

Being that Jeff and I do not have children of our own, and our families live far away from Missoula. We have adapted ~ and have sort-of "adopted" more nieces and nephews, here in Montana. One of them is a little boy named Wilson. We have watched him from day one...We were there a few hours after her was born, and he has turned into quite a source of entertainment over these last months. He's a walking talking little character, who we love to see heading our way down the driveway. He is the son of our friends Dan and Angel.

I remember our dinners together when he was tiny. After we finished our dessert we placed him in the middle of the table and just stared at him for what seemed like hours....then one day he rolled over....then crawled....now he walks...and not only that he's riding a bike! He is only a year and nine months!

Anyway, I wanted to share some videos. The first was in June when he came over and played a tune on the piano... He just loves our piano. The other video was taken a few weeks ago up at the lake, where he caught his very first fish from our wharf.





We are so blessed to have our "adopted" nieces and nephews in town... To keep track of and take interest in what is "going on" in a young life, is a shot of perspective that everyone needs... The Lawson Girls (Amber, Kelly, Kristin), The Brauer Kids (Tarah, Brett), The Kosena Clan (Libby, Quincy, Patrick), Schelby, Kayla, Parker!, Aurora, and more. Don't even get me started about all the dog nieces and nephews I have!

And to all our "real" nieces and nephews! ~ WE LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU LIKE CRAZY!!!!!!!! Wish you lived next door... (Addison - happy birthday, buddy! (19th - tomorrow!)
