I went back up to Wilson's to get the new handles put on. Jeff and I looked everywhere in town for 10 handles that were 4 1/4 centers....we found out - they are not standard. We contacted this antique place in LA that might have been able to match the handles that were on the drawers before - but they only could come 'close' to matching the color to the tune of $14 per handle!
Another reason we decided not to replace this plastic-type handle is that the type of plastic that they used back then became brittle over time. So, we got some handles that were 3" centers - but they covered up the existing holes nicely. What do you think of the finished product?
