Year's end is neither an end nor a beginning but a going on, with all the wisdom that experience can instill in us. ~ Hal Borland

I like that quote and it is the way I see the beginning of every new year...

I am continuing to run throughout the winter although I was a little sluggish during the holidays since I got caught up in all the holiday parties, buying making gifts, etc.

I have not been as enthusiastic about the biking in my living room lately, as I have been in years past.

I plan on doing lots of racing this year - but I'm not sure how many of them will be adventure races. Primal Quest still hasn't been announced and I've heard through the grapevine that it isn't going to happen until 2008 in South America. I want to do a couple of ultra runs - The Swan Crest 57k in September, and possibly the Le Grizz 50 mile (in November). There is also one that I would really enjoy doing but it fills up in one day - The Bridger Ridge Run in Bozeman. There is also a marathon here in Missoula in July! The sky's the limit!

I would like to also do a local adventure race that is in Bozeman called the Big Sky Breakdown. If they can get it together I know of a lot of friends who would like to come out for that.

I hope to do Peaks to Prairie again this year - maybe there will be more competition than in years past.

There is a lot to look forward to this year and I plan on grabbing on to as many cool & challenging experiences as I can!

Jeff and I are looking forward to getting some work done up at the lake, too!

Happy New Year!
