Mom's Trip

Mom just left today and I have to say her trip out here this year was pretty special. We went on a different hiking trail every day that she was here, including some that she hadn't been on before like Waterworks Hill, Jumbo, and Woods Gulch. We went The "Paws Up" Ranch (a five star restaurant/dude ranch just outside of town - for Bill's 50th birthday. We went to a Griz football game. We visited Big Sky Lake and had time to close up the place for the winter while we were there. I also made Mom dress up for Halloween and go out to the Union Club with some friends!

The highlight of the trip was her last day in Montana....she set a new record to the "M" (17 minutes), did lunch with Keri, and then we went on a chilly horseback ride with my friend Megan's brother Mark. I'm not sure what the temperature was - but Mom and I couldn't feel out feet after the ride. We were so happy that we were able to do that ride and to meet a new friend - Mark Colyer.

I can't wait to see what we scheme for next time... Maybe there will be a contradance in Missoula while she is out here! I miss her already....
