My biggest sponsor and fan...Jeffrey Lee

Ever since I met Jeff in 1999 he has seemed to be the grounded, responsible, thoughtful, sort of quiet and sometimes serious type. To the outsider these may seem to be descriptors of someone who likes to live life in a more controlled fashion?..

Probably the biggest risk Jeff ever took is marrying me....the somewhat irresponsible, spontaneous, adventurous, all over the board, and completely unfashionable type. One thing I am sure of is that if we were both the same type there is no way that we would be able to survive as a couple.

I remember living with my friend Erick in a house on the other side of town. We were always on the go and never made time to pay bills until we were getting notices. We got fined $20 from the property management company because our grass was dead since we didn't water it on a regular basis. We both sort of thought that it was great that the lawn was dead and brown because we didn't have a lawn mower, plus it conserved water! I'm sure if Erick and I still lived together we would be in default of something by now, and we still would be living temporarily and unsettled.

It is good that Jeff and I are opposites in many ways (he golfs|I run, he hunts|I bike) ~ While there are many times that I wish we liked more of the same things ~ I appreciate our differences to. And we compliment each other.

In the time that I have known Jeff I have done tons of adventure races and been gone for several long stints in Maine to visit family. If it weren't for Jeff I am not sure I would have been able to take most of these trips.
